7 1/2 Diamonds Ranch- Between Merritt and Princeton - Mostly a Fishing resort but also has room for horse campers. There are cabins available. Located Between Merritt and Princeton www.guestranchbc.com Check Website out for more info.

Hidden Valley Rustic Horse Camp- Located in Beautiful Merritt B.C. on Highway 97C just before Mamit Lake towards Logan Lake. "Ride a Lake a day as long as you stay" 15 full campsite each with corrals. Large barn with kitchen for large parties, 2 outhouses, handmade log picnic tables at every site and a cabin that can slept up to 5 with bunk bed with a single and a double and another double. Lundbom Lake- Merritt area- This is a BC Forestry site. Great campsites with corrals for horses and trees to high line if it gets busy. This is one of my favor spots. Grasslands just up the highway pass Merritt on the Kelowna Connector. Here is a link to Trails BC about Lundbom

 

Rainbow Trails - Merritt area-Just 26 miles past the Toll Both before Merritt take the Cold stream turn off. The trails are well marked but bring your GPS anyway. The campsite was built by the Endurance riders of BC and Backcountry horsemen of BC.  Click to see my Blog on Rainbow

 

Tunkwa Lake (Leighton campsite)- Merritt area-July 20th 2008 - Kamloops BCHBC Chapter just finished 10 well built corrals at this campsite....Trails, campsite great fly fishing and riding. Good campsites. You can ride for miles. ATV trails available too from the Leighton Lake site.. 

 

Kane Valley Klassic bicycle race.Kane Valley- Merritt area-The Kane Valley area offers many trails. In the winter months, the Kane Valley trails serve as XC ski slopes. Recreation Sites and Trails BC

 

 

Timber Ridge Trails -Lumby BC - 10 Pull-in sites for big and small rigs ,4 person bunk house. 1 ~ 2 person shepherd's hut. Outdoor shower , Secure, metal corrals for the horses. Potable water on site, Timber framed covered eating area and food prep area. Group fire pit gathering area, complete with firewood. 2 - 6 hr rides on colour tagged trails to corresponding map. Majority of trails are soft footing suitable for barefoot horses. Plus hundreds of miles of untagged trails to explore for the gps literate adventurer

 

Duffy Lake, - Kamloops area- It is 13 km. up the Greenstone Road going south by Cherry Creek, between Kamloops and Savona. Veer right at the first junction and turn right at 12 km. and follow the signs to Duffy Lake. It is at 3800 meters,

Wells Grey Golf and RV resort- Located in the Heart of British Columbia's pristine wilderness at the entrance to Wells Gray Provincial Park. We are a 30 minute drive from Clearwater, B.C. or 6 hours from Vancouver. There are 7 corrals for your horses and endless riding trails. BARRIER B.C.- FISH TRAP HORSE CAMP Kamloops area - the newly built campsite with outhouses, fire rings, picnic tables, Gazebo and horse corrals!! This project started after the 2003 Wildfires (with corrals for cattle coming in from the range) and has developed into a true passion of some dedicated horse enthusiasts to build a camping spot and starting point for the horse and hiking trails. The Hill's located just north of 100 Mile House at 108 is a great place thanks to the help of some of our Back Country Horsemen. There is now a camp site with corrals for your own horses. You can camp here for less then $20 per night and make use of the fabulous facilities. Pool , Hot tub  and restaurants. http://www.spabc.com/

 

Headwaters Corral Equestrian Campsite- Yarrow Chapter of BCHBC is the driving force behind this initiative. It is in fact a partnership project between BCHBC, BC Parks and the Manning Park Resort. This comes after 2 years of planning and preliminary work bees. The equestrian camp is located directly behind the Resort at the old Trail Riding Stable, on the road to Lightning Lakes and the Gibson Pass Ski Resort. Skimikin Lake - Just before Salmon Arm. Great camp site miles of trails . For more info visit EQ Trails web site at http://eqtrail.webs.com. It is worth the trip up for. Visit local Wineries on horse back.

 

 

Ross Lake -   WHITWORTH HORSE CAMP (SKAGIT VALLEY) Facilities include picnic table, camping pad, pull thru driveway, fire ring, hitching rail & corrals at each site. (11 sites) Please remove manure. Horseback riding is permitted on the Skagit River Trail, Centennial Trail, Nepopekum trail, and to the height of land on the Skyline II Trail. Hideaway horse camp is located in Oliver BC. 6514 Mckinney Road, Oliver, British Columbia.Hideaway is a private spot to camp with horses. Corrals are guaranteed with all 4 sites. Vancouver Island -

Memekay Horse Camp Recreation Site north from Campbell River towards Sayward (Hwy No 19).Drive past Roberts Lake Resort (or stop and grab fresh cinnamon buns at the restaurant!).
The Roberts Lake Provincial rest stop is next on your right and a good place to stop (lots of room for your rig), from the rest stop it is approximately 13 km to ‘Big Tree Main’.
Turn left onto Big Tree Main resource road and drive approximately 6km.
Turn right onto Salmon River Main and drive approximately 1km.
You will go over the Memekay River Bridge then travel a short distance to the Memekay Horse Camp Recreation Site farm gate on your right. For more info go to http://bchorsemen.org/

Brewster Horse Camp Recreation Site- Turn left at the Menzies Bay Main, travel approximately 17 km to Brewster Lake forestry camp site (will be on your right).
The Brewster Horse Camp Recreation Site is directly across from this site (on your left).
